To enable aspiring candidates to get seat in SFTIs (Self Finance Technical Institutions) through a centralized and transparent procedure of allotment, a separate round of counselling called as Central Seat Allocation Board – Self-Financed Technical Institutes Counselling- 2017 (CSAB-SFTI -2017) will be conducted. The CSAB-SFTI 2017 will have only one round of seat allocation process as per the declared schedule and process only after completion of all rounds for JoSAA 2017 including the special vacancy filling round of counselling for NIT + system.

Schedule of CSAB-SFTI 2017 Counselling

Step 1 : Online Payment and Printing of Receipt of Initial Fee of Rs.21,000/-(Rupees Twenty One Thousand only) using SB-collect from the web portal of State Bank of India

July 24th , 2017 10:00 AM to August 1st, 2017 upto 04:00 PM

Step 2 : Online Registration and Filling the Choices of Branch / Institute as per preference

July 25th , 2017 10:00 AM to August 1 st , 2017 upto 11:59 PM

Notes

a) During the scheduled dates for registration and choice filling, it may take around three hours to enable the registration process after the online payment of initial fee.

b) Online Registration and Choice Filling for candidate who deposits Initial Fee of Rs.21,000/- after 8 PM on July 24th, 2017 to July 31st , 2017 will be able to start at 11:00 AM of next day.

c) Students need to frequently click the 'save ' button on their computer screen, while choosing options of Branch/ SFTI during choice filling.

Step 3 : Declaration of Result and Allotment of Seat

August 2nd, 2017 upto 02:00 PM

Step 4 : Reporting to Allotted Institutes (SFTIs) for Admission, Document Verification, Payment of balance admission fees and other fees as applicable

August 3rd , 2017 to August 8th 2017 (on working days and during office hours only)

Disclaimer : Role of CSAB is confined only to allocation of seats in participating SFTIs. CSAB will have no responsibility whatsoever regarding statutory approval of any of the courses, fee, placements, hostels, infrastructure, facilities etc in any of these SFTIs.
